It was only published in English a few weeks ago, but French economist Thomas Piketty’s Capital in the Twenty-First Century has already become inescapable. Over the past few weeks it has become one of those things that everybody’s talking about just because everybody’s talking about it. That, and it really is important. Still, chances are you won’t get to the end of the book, so here is a not-all-that-brief guide for the busy.
