BRW, a leading Australian business magazine, recently queried the graduates of four Australian business schools in an attempt to identify strengths and weaknesses of both the individual schools and Australian business education in general. Among the fourteen areas assessed in survey were development of students’ management, leadership, entrepeneurial, technology, and teamwork skills, job placement services, range of academic offerings, liaison with industry, and student workload. While the rankings are interesting in their own right, the article also does an excellent job addressing the challenges faced by business schools around the world in today’s rapidly changing world. Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the BRW page and read the user comments posted in the site’s “Vox Box” section.
