HipLists is an interesting service that promotes online newsletters to consumers. Potential subscribers review the list of HipLists titles, and then subscribe to those of interest in one fell swoop. The newsletters are available at no cost to the subscriber, and he or she can easily review and choose informative content in the categories of business, culture and fun, health, Internet business, investing, sports and so on. On the other end, the newsletter publisher pays a fee for each qualified subscriber per confirmed sign up. Publishers can target subscribers geographically, and can also choose to exclude domains (like Hotmail.com, Yahoo.com) from their acquisition efforts for an additional fee. [WDFM Annotation]
Editor’s Note: This seems like an interesting complement to CPC search engine marketing but I wonder about testimonials so if any of you use this service please post your comments…
