This finding flies in the face of the generally accepted view that it’s critical to integrate multiple, disparate applications, data sources, and human resources to provide the necessary information and transaction processing for timely and effective decision making and productivity. Added to the challenge is the need to provide this type of integration across the extended enterprise, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
