I’m not a great fan of reorganization. Reorganizations tend to be something you do to people, not for people. Most reorganizations that I’ve seen really were for the purpose of getting around people, solving problems that should have been addressed directly by getting rid of them. You give me the right people, and I don’t much care what organization you give me. Good things will happen. Give me the wrong people, and it doesn’t matter what you do with the organization. Bad things will happen.
