The key to enterprise performance management is to identify an organization’s value drivers, focus on them, and align the organization to drive results. It’s as simple as that; and it is the hardest thing to do. The fact that there are many management methodologies, such as the balanced scorecard, performance prism, and five forces to name just a few, makes it harder. What is the right framework? As many management processes are disconnected from other management and operational processes, the context for implementing such a methodology is missing. Oracle’s Strategy-to-Success management framework provides that context. It consists of six management processes spanning the strategic, financial, and operational levels of the organization. In this paper we associate each of these processes with a relevant metrics framework and we provide some indicative metrics.
